| Recommendations for fitting spark plug wires |

1. Turn off the engine, any operation on the ignition system wires must be performed following this initial absolute rule.
2. Maintenance operations to carry out on cold engine.
3. Use pliers to prevent damage to the wires and their components.
4. Replace the spark plug wires one at a time. Each wire has a very precise length; for this you must absolutely be careful to arrange it in the right way.
5. Slightly rotate the cap before you pull it out (a quarter of a turn is sufficient).
6. During removal take from the cap and never from the wire.
7. Always remove the connector from the spark plug by pulling in the direction of the spark plug’s axis.
8. When positioning the wires be careful not to bend the wire with ranges that are too tight and avoid contact with surfaces that are too hot.
9. Repeat the above steps for each wire.
